Our regular Thursday meeting was replaced by an evening meeting at the home of Dave and Shauna Lorenzen where we had a special Sayonara Party to celebrate the 2-week visit of our 9 students and 1 chaperone from our sister club Kagoshima West Rotary, in Kagoshima, Japan.
The evening meal was a potluck, with great food provided by both club members and host famalies. Of course host Shauna Lorenzen provided Chicken Paella as the entre.
We also had the opportunity to celebrate the birthday of one of the SRKSEP students, that appeared to be a big suprise to all.
The evening wasn't half over before most of the students ended up in the pool as most teenagers do.
All in all, a successful meeting and a successful wind up to SRKSEP 2024
