Rotary hike Bodega Head hike/whale watching  Feb. 17, Saturday  11am

Highlights:  Our second Rotary hike of the year will be at the coast.  We will be taking an "easy--with a couple of very small  hills"-- trail that is a 1.5 miles stroll taking about an hour at the Bodega Head.  After the hike, we will do some whale watching ( as they migrate south to Mexico.)  There will be folks from the "Stewards of the coast and redwoods" to  make our whale viewing more successful and more interesting.  We can stop for a seafood lunch in Bodega after the hike and whale watching.

Rating:  Easy.

Leader:  Jim Moir. (with help from Rick Lewis) For more information, contact Jim at 539-4395  707-481-3133 (cell) or mmoir@sonic.net

Where to go:  We will meet at the Bodega Head trail parking lot, Use GPS to "Bodega Head"  As you get close to the Bodega Head, you will find yourself on Westshore Rd.    Keep driving to the very end of Westshore Rd. -- some GPS stops early.    (The road splits just before the parking lot...you want to go to the RIGHT)    You will be "there" when the road ends at a large dirt parking lot and you have a spectacular view of the ocean.

This should be a fun time for all ages.  We hope to see you there!!!!
