Sunrise Rotary Hikes the Kortum Trail at Shell Beach
Sunday's hike started from the parking lot at Shell beach just south of Jenner where we met up and headed through gorgeous grasslands with board walks on the Kortum Trail about an hour north led by Marty.
And, turned back!
A wonderful time had by all!
The Kortum Trail is one of the classic Sonoma County trails, named in honor of conservationist Bill Kortum. There were some wildflowers, rock climbers, deer and sweeping views of the Pacific. And most importantly a bit of exercise and conversation with old and new friends.
