Rotarian of the Year 2020/2021

Stacy Drucker-Andress Honored as Rotarian of the Year!

At President Paul’s Debunking Saturday, he named Stacy Drucker-Andress as the 2020/21 Rotarian of the Year.  He rambled off her qualifications in his remarks, “She was active in the Super Raffle, in the Guerneville Shelter dinners, in the Russian River Clean Up, active in putting together our Social Events and could usually be found at the Redwood Empire Food Bank.  At the beginning of the year she was asked to step into Jim Moir’s shoes to give counsel and guidance to prospective members- she said, “Yes” and batted 1.000 bringing in six new members.  At the end of the year she was asked to join Jennifer’s Board- she said, “Yes”.  Jennifer asked her to take over one of the key Chair positions- Member- she said, “Yes, of course.”  She single-handedly made the Mike Kelly Memorial Coat Drive happen delivering hundreds of coats to those in need, and outside of Rotary she feeds those without shelter at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation’s Saturday morning breakfasts.”   While there are many, many Sunrisers deserving of recognition, Stacy embodied “Service Above Self” in 2020/21.  Congratulations, Stacy!!
