Good Bye ~ Farewell ~ Auf Wiedersehen ~ Adios ~ ~

But first a few parting shots, and thoughts . .

Doug is pondering, perhaps using his Google app to find the answer to his question from Trinity dating back to he and Barbara's wedding year.

Penny is happy to be back in the USA following her and hubby Paul's Irish Pub pilgrimage ~ and heritage search.

Jim Moir maintains his poise dwarfed by Franchetti's imposing server. Jim led a group of 7 Father's Day through Pomo Canyon.

John Leddy and Trinity Laney, Elsie Allen Interact Presidents lead our first Shared Gavel meeting, and recognition session.

Logan Leddy confidently managed IT for the Interact presentation.

Ralph Harryman sagely advised us on he and Kathy's secrets to a successful 54 year old marriage.

Young Alin Chera jogged Pres Rich memory on his 6/19 birthday.

Ken Petro recalled his Police Escort to his wedding and Doris' plea to the Officers: "don't take him to jail!" That was 58 years ago!!

My plea to Betsy "get me to the debunking on time" ~ I may have a hard time giving up the gavel!!

This meeting contained the quintessential elements of why Sunrise Rotary keeps drawing us together: Wonderful, creative, enthusiastic people. Intergenerational exchanges of ideas and perspectives. Commitment for Service to name a few. The best part is, how we continue to connect, collaborate and sustain Goodwill and Better Friendships here and abroad. A new year next week starts for Marty, and each of us, building from where we are and traveling places promising to possess discovery and delight.
