A wonderful thing happened following last weeks meeting: I heard a member and two community supported groups talking about a collaborative project!
The Living Room Director Cindy Pasko and Oona Heacock North Coast Resource and Conservation Development Council Founder were planning an activity to advance each other's agency goals into a productive, life enhancing garden.
Their discussion of overlapping values and intersecting priorities gave me pause to realize how Rotary truly connects People of Action! While Sunrise Community Grants Coordinator Carolyn Anderson listened, this writer was percolating with gratitude that these three creative people were about to launch a trial balloon of allied constituencies: Rotary, The Living Room, and NCRCDC.
