President Elect Rich Randolph joined nearly 500 other incoming presidents in San Jose last weekend to gain momentum and orientation for their 2018-2019 gavel toting year. Highlights included addresses by incoming Rotary International President Barry Rassin of Nassau, Former RI President and local Rotarian Richard D. King and RI Board members John Matthews and John Blount of Sebastopol.
Sunrise Rotarian Del Raby, Past District 5130 Governor and Alumni Rep at PETS is somewhere to be found in the see of heads.
District 5130 Governor Elect Barbara Spangler made several introductions.
We were even entertained! Past District Governor JT Capps of North Carolina cajoled us not to be too serious, but rather The Inspiration!
The curriculum was heartily embraced: Leadership, Membership, The Rotary Foundation and Brand. Each session was organized to engage minds and voice, and headed toward the culminating class in which everyone prepared their Strategy for Success action plan. District 5130 Past District Governor Michael Juric received a standing ovation for his leadership in design and implementation of the training modules.
