Sunrise Rotary Foundation Director, Randy Seeley gives statistics on the Rotary fight to eradicate polio:
- 2.5 billion have been inoculated throughout the world -- 1/3 of the people on the planet
- Currently only 20 cases worldwide; 16 in Somalia and 4 in Pakistan.
- Nigeria has not had a case of polio for 2 years, but will not be designated as polio free until there are no cases for 5 years
