Park Progress - Adaptive Swings
Since the 2017 fires, Santa Rosa City Parks have had 75 acres of city park lands damaged. Rebuilding and recovering from the damage has been an ongoing challenge to priorities and resources. In addition to the play areas the city has had to rebuild, extensive irrigation in parks and roadway landscaping. The 19 acre site on Kawana Springs Road, home to the planned Kawana Springs Community Park has had its share of setbacks.
