New Generations Peace Builders ranks added twenty eager Certificated graduates this past weekend as they presented their 4, unique 12 week projects promoting peace at home and abroad.
New Gen Peace Builders is an awesome movement! A Rotary Action Group within the area of Focus Peace and Conflict Resolution, it helps youth between 14 and 25 develop tangible bridges to sustainable peace and conflict resolution.
Included in the graduates were Elsie Allen Interactors Trinity Laney and Lizbeth Estupinan. Trinity's team developed a model assessment to gauge stress in 11th grade students and sent their data to school administrators in advocacy for student support. Lizbeth's group helped restore Tubbs Fire destroyed vegetation at Pepperwood Preserve.
