Minimizing Occurrences of Violence in Everyday Society minimizingviolence.org
MOVES initiated a public awareness campaign to make non violence the norm throughout Sonoma County.
The message is summed up in a 5 inch diameter, round sticker displaying a young person in a pose that mimics the peace sign, with the words “No Violence” boldly displayed on the bottom and the organization’s web address printed, in a smaller font, on the top.
MOVES Board President, Rob Sanville, made a presentation for this at a local Rotary Club, where the stickers were well received, and people donated $1 each for stickers, to MOVES.
MOVES Secretary, Greg Spaulding, and board member, Gig Hitao met with Assembly Member Marc Levine’s staff person and presented these stickers and MOVES brochures for their public outreach.
You are most welcome to pick up some stickers for your use and to distribute where permission is granted. Contact info is on our website.
Also, if you want to leave stickers in a place for the public to pick some up, add a hand-written card to where you leave the stickers, that says “Please use where permission is granted.”
You may also use the attached jpg file photo of the sticker for whatever you deem appropriate.
