Get ready for the Culinary Classic
Susan Glowaki announces that this is the last day to submit Culinary auction items that will raise needed funds through Silent and Live Auctions at the club’s biggest fundraiser, to be held in two short weeks.
Merle Hayes promotes "Golden Tickets” — $50 each in packs of 10 — for Rotarians to offer friends, colleagues and families another way to participate in the upcoming Culinary Classic and win a drawing for the coveted “Library of Wines.”
Bigger is Better...?
Michael Riel, Administrative Director, and Doug Shureen, Vice President/President Nominee, (who were absent from the first Club Assembly) get their “Board Pins.” President Eloise had only one Director Pin due to the late Board addition of Carmen Guiterrez, so she presented Doug with an "extra large" Rotary wheel pin, for which he graciously thanked Carmen.
Flamingo Fame for President Eloise
President Eloise Tweeten struggles to unwrap her gift from Carolyn Anderson — A Flamingo Coaster that celebrates Eloise’s famed Flamingo Hat.
Crowd Control
Jim Gray and Steve Olsen check Rotarians into Fountaingrove's crowded, alternate Rotary meeting room, which Eloise later remarks is not the most comfortable for her.
