We are cancelling this week's October 31 Santa Rosa Sunrise Rotary Regular Meeting due to the Kincade Fire and its repercussions.
Many of our members have left the area due to mandatory or voluntary evacuations. In addition, although Franchetti's has power, it has been closed for several days due to a mandatory evacuation and is unsure when the mandatory evacuation will be lifted. They are not allowed to serve restaurant guests while on mandatory evacuation.
Next week, November 7, is a Change of Venue to the Veterans Memorial Hall for our annual Veterans Day Tribute. So no meeting at Franchetti's that day.
We will pick up again at our regular meeting on Thursday, November 14 at Franchetti's.
This is a rough time for all of us, with power out and a large and growing fire just north of us. Here's hoping our brave firefighters will be able to hold the line and keep this fire from population centers, including those where our fellow and sister members work and live.
