The Super Raffle Fundraising project for the Covid lockdown year of 2020-2021 was headed by Roy Johnston who, with his committee, orchestrated a daring, innovative project that combined Bay Area sports enthusiastic competition with time honored fundraising know how to create a Super Raffle.
Sunrisers were segregated into championship football teams captained and coached by Eloise Tweeten, Harry Coffee and three of the club's stalwart Steves -- Steve Amen, Steve Herron and Steve Zwick; who headed the Steelers, Seahawks, Packers, Bears and 49er teams.
On-screen stars represented charter members Dave Lorenzen, program chairs Jennifer Adams, John Jones and Shauna Lorenzen, and prominent members Don Floriani. as well as newer members Carmen Fuentes, Jim Gray, and Megan Melendez-Orr.
The completed video is published on YouTube and can be utilized to promote and inform on Rotary Club of Santa Rosa Sunrise formation, purpose, ongoing programs and community services for years to come.
