Lewis School Then and Now
This front yard view started Sunrise relationship with Lewis School. In the backyard the renovations continue.
Two years ago, Sunrise members and friends descended on Lewis School to build accessible planters for student gardeners.
Today the planters are home to herbs and students eager for more colorful contents: Flowering foliage along with edible leaves.
During a recent visit to the school for photos, one of the teachers asked for help in supplementing the plantings. "The students want color in the plnters". Do we have suggestions?
