Jack envisions community-based Interact
Jack Strange, a teacher and Interact Advisor in San Rafael that is co-sponsored by Rotary and has 52 students who meets every week, proudly shared information about this active and fast growing group of teens who attract new members each time they meet. All positions in club leadership are cooperative teams with co-presidents, co-vice-presidents, etc. who provide leadership for one service project each month and share responsibilities. These projects have included: Relay for Life, St. Jude's Children's Hospital and Lighting Up Lives with Music. These Interact students also have made presentations to the Marin Board of Supervisors and the Rotary District 5150 Training Assembly.
In order to provide opportunities and services for children who are not in participating schools, Jack is forming a community-based Interact Club. Kudos to Jack!
