We have a new administration about to be installed, we have issues and discords worldwide, we have circumstances right in our own backyards to contend with, but December allows us to look at the bright side of things and hope for better days ahead.
Sunrise Rotarians will be meeting at a new location soon, and we will make it our “Home” away from home every Thursday. No matter what comes our way, Rotarians overcome adversity and disappointment to win the day!
As the sponsor of December's newsletter and assisting serving breakfast I am reminded of the importance of positive attitudes and seeing the bigger picture. Our upcoming projects deserve our full attention and support which we as a group have always accomplished.
The year has been one for the books, so much has happened to affect the lives of so many. The entertainment industry has lost a long list of talented people, many members of the original groups that created the memorable moments we will always cherish, the memories that we hold near and dear.
America has been blessed with opportunities and challenges no other nation can claim. Americans are afforded the greatest gift of all, Freedom of Religion, of Speech and Expression. These are not given without cost; Americans have fought for every inch of these inalienable rights and freedoms that make being an American the most precious and prized citizenship the world has ever known. We will continue this struggle against oppression and tyranny going forward, for the sake of our children and future generations.
