Who Ya Gonna Call?
When 50 to 60 mph winds blew over the large welcome sign at the Stony Point Community Garden in January, the garden manager asked if Rotary could help resurrect the structure. Who ya gonna call? The Golden Hammer of course.
A quick assessment by Leroy, Rob, Paul and friend Garrett determined that they were not going to be able to lift the 350-pound structure (strong and buff as they are) so the roof was taken off to lighten the load, concrete poured around new posts, and the sign was hoisted back into place last Friday.
