President Debra announced the day as "Fat Thursday" -- the day before Lenten denials take effect -- when all are encouraged to feast on doughnuts.  But alas, doughnuts were not served at the breakfast meeting.  However, the devout could. substitute mini turnovers and sweet bread slices for doughnuts until lunch, when the delightful circular pastries could be obtained.
