To understand this year’s club tagline, you need to know President Eloise is a world-class senior synchronized swimmer.  Her multi-faceted skills set provide us fun-filled benefits and an ambitious agenda of service above self.  Such as:
 
ENVIRONMENTAL 5%:  Land Path Summer Camp, Tecoluta Turtle Preservation Project and Roseland Prep-Elsie Allen High School composting project.
 
INTERNATIONAL 19%:  Dental & eyeglass project in Nicaragua & SRKSEP Santa Rosa Kagoshima Student Exchange Program.
 
COMMUNITY 10%:  Rebuilding Together, Market Watch Food supplementing, Women’s Recovery Center major housing support.
 
SENIORS 3%:  Annual Picnic, Oktoberfest, and a District Matching Grant to enliven nursing home resident’s lives with their favorite music.  This joint club project with Santa Rosa Evening Rotary (btw, Eloise’ husband Jack Strange is that club president this year as well) 
 
YOUTH 31%:  Centennial Dental Clinics, Elsie Allen High School Interact Club sponsorship, Steele Lane School Community Garden, Books for Schools, Rotary Youth Leadership Academy, Academic & Career Technical Education Scholarships, Youth Grants, Rotary Cool Kids Nature Camp, Junior College Leadership Center Support.
 
Our annual disbursements budget is $64,000.  The above percentages represent 67% of the total.  The remaining $20,950 is currently unallocated.
 
Our two fundraisers are the October Culinary Classic, budgeted to net $40,000 and our June Golf Tournament $24,000.

Many opportunities are available for adventuresome fellowship, such a weekly and monthly hikes, student hosting, event support and new member mentoring to name a few. Our Interact Club at Elsie Allen High School is also dynamic, community oriented and genuinely team spirited.  Talk to Ross Andress for ways to catch some of their energy & enthusiasm!!
