Nicholas Vazquez Lobato threw for 184 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 passes. Uriel Gonzalez Pacheco was his top target, picking up 96 receiving yards and a pair of scores.
When it comes to explaining why Cornerstone Christian lost, don't look at Matthew Miyahara. Despite the final result, he rushed for 274 yards and three TDs while picking up 8.3 yards per carry. Miyahara's rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his seventh straight game with at least 100 rushing yards. Another player making a difference was Uriah Wade, who rushed for 106 yards and one score on only ten carries.
Elsie Allen's victory bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Cornerstone Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 6-6.
