Lobo Learners Excel!!
Your Lobo $upport through Sunrise Rotary and the Elsie Allen Foundation has generated resources sufficient to grant $51,500 in study grants for students in University and Junior College education.
Both graduating seniors and continuing alumni students are recipients. From Santa Rosa Junior College to Harvard, Stanford, Cs' Berkeley and Santa Barbara, academic, performing arts and professionally well poised Lobo grads are able to advance their dreams with greater confidence felt from the communities believe in their dreams and plans.
$5,000 was awarded to students rising above enormous COVID-19 challenges. Twelve more awards were made than in 2020.
Merle Hayes and Carolyn Anderson had the unenviable task of reviewing and selecting recipients. There were more applicants than previous years, and fortunately more resources to be awarded. As the Foundation grows, more awards will be possible. Keep our eyes on Lobo legends! There are many!!
