Introducing Jose Guillen last week, Sunriser Eloise Tweeten informed us of her role as a Mentor for local students. Her Cohort selected homeless people as their focus.
One way her group has learned about homeless people is through a session led by Sunriser Steve Worthen, His pioneering efforts with Casa SAY, Social Advocates for Youth and their conversion of property on Hoen Avenue into the Dream Center provided an example of how collaborative action with a sustainable model can have dramatic, positive results.
