can resonate with people everywhere, either as member of a Rotary Club or Humanity in general.
Eloise Tweeten, Sunrise Rotarian recently travelled to Mexico on a District 5130 Friendship tour to meet with other Rotarians and assess partnership opportunities amongst clubs and districts.
Maternal and childhood health was an identified area of focus and grant proposals written to reduce infant mortality and increase prenatal care. A remarkable collaborative with the Mexican Institute of Socia Security and Rotary partners have created a comprehensive program for sustainable education, progress monitoring and intervention. Common values on life and preventive care coalesced to create interdisciplinary engagement.
Where do each of us fit into the plan? This is an International collaborative approach to improve quality of and indeed life itself.
The grant proposal total of $12,031 has pledges for all but $2000.. Closing the gap is open to everyone, members of a Rotary Club or not. Clubs in Sebastopol, Valley of the Moon and Santa Rosa Sunrise and Windsor are current contributors along with Clubs in Tepic and Nayarit Mexico.
