The USA Artistic Swimming Masters National Competition is over!  The Redwood Empire swim club sent 14 swimmers to Clearwater Florida and came away with the “high point” trophy (highest point count based on Gold, Silver and Bronze medals) for the third year in a row.

guess who?

Our most experienced swimmers all swam solos, duets and team routines with medals in each event to really rack up the points!

I’m lucky to swim with some of the best, most experienced gals in this sport who live from Pacifica to Santa Rosa and two in the East Bay.  We gather in Petaluma or Novato to swim together weekly.

We had three Redwood Empire teams competing, and our swimmers range in age from 38 to 76.  I received a bronze medal in duet and bronze for our team routine with 6 swimmers; our advanced swimmers took gold in the same age group.

The best part is the camaraderie and doing what we all love-together!

Cheers,

Eloise
