District Training Assembly
Above District Governor elect Barbara Spangler invites incoming Presidents Elect to join her on the stage. Yours truly Rich Randolph climbed the stairs with his 2018-2019 cohorts to enthusiastic greetings from fellow District Rotarians representing the 62 clubs from Crescent City to Petaluma.
Rapt in varying stages of attention at the early hour L-R President Doug, Pres Nominee Marty and Pres Elect Elect Paul, Past President Mike Kelly opposite Board member Carolyn Anderson and Pres Elect Rich participate in the first of the 4 sessions. Membership, The Rotary Foundation, Strengthening Clubs and Public Image-Brand were topics presented and discussed by the 5 clubs in the room: Santa Rosa Sunrise, Santa Rosa East, the two Ukiah clubs and Sonoma Valley.
When asked "what is Rotary"? several responses were made. This statement consolidated all the varied replies. What do you say Rotary is?
The annual District Training Assembly did a great job of amplifying the initiatives rolled out at the PETS - President Elect Training Seminars: STRENGTHENING AND SUPPORTING CLUBS, INCREASING HUMANITARIAN SERVICE, IMPROVING PUBLIC IMAGE AND AWARENESS.
For 2018 and 2019 our theme is Be the Inspiration!! Breathe Deep!!
