These Sunrise veterans participated in the District Conference at the former McClellan Air Force Base in Sacramento. During this reception in the California Aerospace Museum, visitors could ride a flight simulator, take a Ground School lesson or explore a variety of historic aviation displays.
District Governor Bob Rogers, a retired airline pilot charted a fantastic course for the conference around the theme "Where Your Dreams Take Flight".

Sunriser Rich Randolph L and Paul Frechette of Healdsburg show ther LN-4 prosthetic hand they assembled as part of an "Ideation" demonstration of what can happen when a dream takes flight. The product of a Rotarian's grieving over his daughter Ellen's tragic death, the father's energy was directed to doing something in her honor: LN-4 was developed to provide land mine victims hope and literally a helping hand. President Doug and Del Raby participated in a food packet assembly line, amassing 10,100 packets of foodstuffs to be sent to areas in need.
