Lucky winner Kent Seegmiller will host a Chinese dinner for eight sponsored by the Santa Rosa Rotary
Panhandler, Kent Seegmiller, known to Sunrisers as the guy who regularly totes a frying pan around breakfast tables, pushing it under the noses of Rotarians, who have been recognized for various honors making it easy for them to pay up, is now the new best friend of all who know him. Seegmiller emerged victorious in the highly contested bidding for a Rotary "basket" featuring a gourmet Chinese dinner for eight at the home of prominent Rotarians of the Santa Rosa club, which was brought to the Sunrise meeting by District Governor Bob Rogers.
Pot stickers, spicy lemon chicken sticks, Mongolian lamb with vegetable pancakes, hot and sour salmom with Chinese cabbage, jasmine tea and plum wine are some of the many courses to be enjoyed by Seegmiller guests. Sunrisers sent a basket filled with chocolates, coffee and other delicacies with the District Gov to be auctioned off at his next speaking engagement.
One can see by Kent's sly smile above that he is already salivating in expectation of the coveted dinner delicacies he has won.
