Celebration Inspiration

During every meeting, Rotarian birthdays and anniversaries are announced and each recipient is challenged to declare plans or events that are upcoming or have been consummated to honor the occasion.  At the August 8 meeting, Rotarian Steve Worthen and his wife, Georgia were recognized for an upcoming anniversary and Carolyn Anderson volunteered a High Five in honor of the birthday of her daughter.  One of these two Rotarians -- Steve or Carolyn -- took their family member to the renowned San Francisco musical drama, Beach Blanket Babylon.  The other requested a recommendation from LeRoy for a gift appropriate to the occasion. Other Rotarians suggested a fishing boat or fishing equipment.  Can you guess which Rotarian enjoyed a memorable evening and which is destined for more challenges before the anticipated event?
