Del Raby and Ken Petro took the reins at Coddington Mall Friday to ring in charity to the annual red kettle drive.
In Del and Ken's hand is a letter from the supervisor at Silver Crest, Salvation Army's landmark twin housing towers in Santa Rosa and home to Del.
When it was know he was coming to support the drive, the housing supervisor asked Del to deliver some cheer into the kettle. Ask Del about his parent's role as Salvation Army Officers in the 1900's!! Regarding Del's hairdo ~ rumor has it he had to dodge a few reindeer rehearsing for their upcoming marathon. All parties are healing satisfactorily.
Three Past Presidents, Warren our Charter and Ken, Del of Mt View and our District Governor in 91-92 did their best to attract red kettle donations. Foot traffic was very light, but cheerful.
