One Hundred and Nine and Counting!!!

Above, Rotary International President Ian Riseley addresses the first visitors in the Conventions's House of Friendship.  Over 1,000 exhibitors shared stories, projects, products and ideas.  People asked me "where is Del?"

The Air Canada Center looked like a space station with it's blue subdued lighting and Jumbotron screens projecting speakers.  UNICEF CEO Caryl Stern was one of many keynoters igniting attendees to Be the Inspiration!!  Other luminaries included Former First Lady Laura Bush who advocated early childhood education and constructive role modelling.

Sunrise President Rich Randolph vamps in front of Air Canada Center which seated 20 thousand Rotarians eager to share ideas and build better friendships.

Sunrise First Lady Betsy Randolph met Tru North Aid Ken in the House of Friendship.  Aid includes education support, food stuffs, AND  Ice Hockey (is there any other kind up there?).

As the name implies, Fellowships are for everyone seeking Goodwill and Better Friendships with Rotarians of similar interests.

What is yours?

BTW, did the "One Hundred and Nine" candles not add up in your Rotary calculator?  2018-1905 = 113.  Can you provide the Editor an explanation of the discrepancy?
