Amend's Fireside

"Fireside" on Sunny Spring Afternoon

 

At the hilltop home of Steve and Kathleen Amend, the clear sky, spectacular view, and grand porch surrounding their custom-built two-story house, provided a leisurely environment for 41 people, including 27 Rotarians on Saturday, April 23, 2016.  The hosts served grilled burgers with all the fixings and guests provided salads, side dishes and desserts -- including an Earth Day cake picturing the earth itself, surrounded by lush vegetation. 

 
 

Wide-brimmed beauties:  Carmen Taylor, Vicki Lockner and Sharon Wright enjoyed the afternoon while well protected from the radiant sun.
