ALS Walk

Over three-hundred supporters turned out last Saturday at Spring Lake to walk for a cure of ALS, Lou Gehrig's Disease.  Sunrise Rotary was well represented. including member Rolf Wessman who has been battling ALS himself for over five years. 

Sonja, Rolf and Ann Wessman inspire everyone to put their feet forward, and joy stick to the max!!

Penny Millar, Marty Behr, Judith Leasher, Dicksie Tamanaha, Olin Leasher and Paul ORear share the glow of successful steps towards a cure!!

Judith Leasher and Warren Smith, Sunrise Charter President and Photographer Extraordinaire take a breather.  An early tally reported over $52,000 raised to Defeat ALS.  Over 700 feet and generous donor's advanced the cause, following the more radical, and enormously successful "Ice Bucket Challenge" in a previous year.
