TJ VanderYacht

At the Russian River Confluence, TJ VanderYacht helps drive collaborative efforts to tackle water challenges and strengthen climate resilience across the North Coast. Drawing on a background in public health and environmental science, TJ focuses on fostering partnerships and implementing practical, inclusive solutions that benefit both communities and ecosystems.

 

Michael Thompson

Michael Thompson served as an Assistant General Manager for the Sonoma County Water Agency until his retirement in 2023. He currently serves as the Project Manager for the Russian River Confluence and provides water resource consulting services.  He holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, masters' degrees in civil engineering and in business administration, and is a California-registered professional civil engineer.
