Nut Tree: The Serendipity of a Successful Business

Part time resident of Petaluma and farmer in Suisun Valley California. Retired superintendent of Old Adobe Unions School District. Her family started the Nut Tree restaurant and she grew up in the business. She started out selling toys at 12 years of age. Her book (Nut Tree: From a California Ranch to a Design, Food, and Hospitality Icon) tells of the entrepreneurial success of her family and chronicles the success of a unique 20th century business.
