Santa Rosa Fire Foundation

Jennielynn Holmes (Santa Rosa Fire Foundation Board President) is the Chief Program Officer for Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Santa Rosa, and has spent her career in the nonprofit field, working with several community based volunteer groups. She is a Santa Rosa native and received her undergraduate degree from the University of California Davis, as well as her Master’s in Public Administration from the University of San Francisco. She was recognized by the North Bay Business Journal as one of the top 40 business professionals under the age of 40, and by Senator Mike McGuire as Sonoma County’s Woman of the Year in 2016. She currently serves on the Steering Committee for Leadership Santa Rosa, the Sonoma County Continuum of Care Board, as well as Sonoma County’s First Five Commission.

We will explain the changing business model of the Santa Rosa Fire Department, and the formation of the Santa Rosa Fire Foundation which has been set up to harness the generosity of the community to provide resources for the Santa Rosa Fire Department to institute organizational changes and innovative enhancements at a much more prolific pace. The Foundation’s core areas of support will be (1) wildfire resiliency, (2) health and wellness, and (3) community engagement diversity.
