Sonoma County Parks

Melissa Kelley is committed to building a robust, accessible Sonoma County Regional Parks system and park programs that are welcoming to all residents and visitors in Sonoma County. For the past decade, she has served as the executive director of the Sonoma County Regional Parks Foundation. Since taking the helm in 2011, she has quadrupled the nonprofit’s annual grants to Regional Parks, awarding $730,000 last year.

Melissa has been recognized with leadership awards from UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business, the North Bay Business Journal, and Leadership Santa Rosa. She earned an MBA at the Haas School of Business, where she specialized in nonprofit management, and a BA with honors from Duke University. In addition to her work with the Parks Foundation, in 2015 she founded the women’s philanthropic organization Impact 100 Redwood Circle.
