August 15 - Doran Park Beach Party

On their last day in Santa Rosa, our team enjoyed a typical summer leisure day in Sonoma County, by traveling to the Sonoma Coast and enjoying a Beach Party at Doran Park Beach. With the assistance of Rotarian drivers and hosts Steve Amens, Don Floriani, Susan Glowacki, Jennifer Hembd and Olin Leasher, our group had a play day on the beach including lunch by beach fire … Hot dogs, Watermelon and assorted goodies. Also joining our group were SRKSEP Alumni Nate, Quinn, Savanah and Amaris!

After a long day of play at the beach, our travelers returned to Nagasawa Park for the last time, being picked up by host families’ for a final family meal, then packing to set off to Southern California and Disneyland tomorrow!
