Simi Winery was founded by two wine brokers from Tuscany who built their stone wine cellar in Healdsburg California is 1890. These cellars are still used for aging Simi's wines. Simi now makes four varietal wines from vineyards primarily in the Alexander Valley appellation: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir.

J is long time producer of critically acclaimed sparkling wines and also for producing site-specific, cool climate Russian River varietals like Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Arista Winery was founded in the Russian River appellation in 2002 with a mission to create the most elegant expression of Russian River Valley Pinot Noir. They now also produce cool-climate expressions of Chardonnay and Gewurztraminer. They winery minimizes manipulation in its growing and viticulture practices and strives to make wines that speak their origins.
