LandPaths
Frances Lee LandPaths Sep. 17, 2026
Frances Lee (she/her) joined LandPaths in June 2026. She is a nonprofit fundraising and communications leader with 17 years of experience supporting youth development, arts education, and community-centered organizations across the Bay Area.  Her previous experience includes leadership roles at Girls Leadership, Summer Search, MyPath, and Girls on the Run of the Bay Area. Frances has also worked as an independent consultant supporting nonprofits across the country with fundraising strategy and organizational planning. Through her consulting practice, she served as Executive Director of Little Opera and Development Director for the Young@Heart Chorus.
Frances’s connection to the outdoors began early through hiking and camping with her family, and at summer camps as both camper and counselor. Those experiences shaped her belief in the importance of equitable access to nature and outdoor learning opportunities.
Before her nonprofit career, Frances was a musician and teaching artist who taught piano, flute, and voice. She studied music education and flute performance at the University of Southern California and California State University, Los Angeles, and continues to sing in bands and choral groups.
Frances lives in West County with her partner and their dogs, Toby and Zoey. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, gardening, attending live music performances, and traveling with friends and family.

Pacific Coast Air Museum (Alternate Venue) Pacific Coast Air Museum Sep. 24, 2026 7:15 a.m.

Meeting will be held at the Pacific Coast Air Museum at the Sonoma County Airport. Speaker (name to be confirmed) will be from the museum.

The Pacific Coast Air Museum's mission is to educate, inspire, preserve, and honor—sharing the story of aviation and space technology while safeguarding historic aircraft and recognizing the service of our veterans. After graduating, he moved to Sacramento, where he earned his B.A., M.A., and teaching credentials from California State University, Sacramento. During that time, he married his wife, Nicollette, also a Sonoma County native, and the two soon returned home to Sonoma County to raise their twins in the community that shaped them.

In that role, he led teams across Sonoma, Napa, and Lake Counties, expanded the organization’s reach, strengthened district partnerships, launched new professional development systems, and helped drive cross program alignment to enhance student impact.

Miles Horobin Small Scale Organic Food Systems Nov. 05, 2026

Miles Horobin (he/him) grew up in Sonoma County and spent much of his childhood exploring and getting to know the flora and fauna who inhabit this bioregion. His appreciation for the natural world is deeply inspired by his botanist grandfather, Alan. After spending many years immersed in gardening, farming, and landscaping, Miles came to OAEC in 2020 for the Garden Internship Program. In his current role as Garden Manager, he brings together many of his passions and skills and shares them with others. He is a lifelong learner and finds plants to be some of the best teachers.
