Saturday, June 20, 2020 – 10a to Noon (or a bit later) – Channel Drive from Oakmont to Annadel State Park and back.

We are returning to our bi-monthly hikes -- with social distancing and masks.

Highlights:  The June Rotary Club hike will be from the Catholic Church in Oakmont through Wild Oak to Annadel State Park and back.

Rating:  Easy.  The hike is from 3-5 miles roundtrip – your choice .  You can turn back whenever you want.

Leaders:  Jim Moir/Lizzie Colbert     For more information, contact Jim at 707-481-3133 or mmoir@sonic.net

Date, Time & Directions:  Saturday, June 20.  Meet at 10:00am at Star of the Valley Church in Oakmont, 545 White Oak Drive, Santa Rosa.  Park on the street near the church.  White Oak Drive is the second stop sign after you turn into Oakmont onto Oakmont Drive from Hwy 12.  Turn right off Oakmont Drive onto White Oak Drive.

We will return to our starting point by noon or a bit longer for a picnic (bring your own lunch) on the Polo Field near the beginning/end of our hike – again with social distancing and masks when not eating.  Other non-hikers can join us for the picnic lunch.

Description:  This walk is mostly forested and shaded, so is comfortable in hot weather.  We have chosen this route -- on roads -- so that we can walk 2-3 abreast in rows 6-feet apart.  An Easy and nearby walk to ease us back into hiking.

Bring:  Water, walking sticks (if you want, not essential) and a picnic lunch.
Spouses, partners, friends and guests welcome.  This is a good introduction to our Club for guests potentially interested in becoming members.
