Saturday, July 13, 2024 – 9a-11a -- Rotary Guided Walk on the Santa Rosa Southeast Greenway. Light rain or shine. Dog-friendly.
An easy and enjoyable walk -- And a chance to learn about Santa Rosa Southeast Greenway -- Santa Rosa's future "Central Park". Join us!
Highlights: We'll walk the Greenway with two representatives from the local organization that has been working for over a decade to acquire the land from the State Dept. of Transportation (accomplished) and to plan and develop the Greenway park (starting now) -- our own Katherine Seelye and Pete Dellavalle.
Rating: EASY. About two miles of flat walking, with optional half mile uphill at the end. Mostly on paved roads and sidewalks + some grassy trails. Shuttle vehicle available at the end of the flat portion of the hike and from the optional top-of-the-hill portion at the end of the hike.
Dog-Friendly: Yes

Date, Time & Directions: Saturday, July 13 at 9am. Meet at the corner of Hoen and Franquette. Park on Franquette. The flat portion of the hike will end at Summerfield & Sumner; the hill portion at Sumner & Slate. Shuttles will return you to starting point.
Bring: Water bottle, walking stick if helpful, your puppy if you have one.
