Join Sunrise Rotary meetings, now virtual. Same time, Thursdays at 7:30am Pacific Time.
 
Simplest and recommended method is to join with a computer connected to the Internet, which will provide audio and video. Or you can join by phone for audio only. If you have the Zoom app loaded on your phone, you can get both audio and video. Brief instructions for each mode are below.

COMPUTER with INTERNET

To Join Zoom Meeting, just use this link.
If you use the link above, no password will be required.
 
 
When you get prompted, select "Open Zoom Meetings" and then "Join with Computer Audio".
 
If you use the Meeting ID to enter the meeting, you will need the ID and password shown below.
Meeting ID: 658 267 980
Password: sunrise
Follow any instructions needed to open the session. See OPERATING NOTES for additional info.

PHONE (AUDIO only)

To join the audio by phone, you need to dial in as follows:
Dial-in:  +1 669 900 6833
Meeting ID: 658 267 980

PHONE (Audio and Video, with ZOOM app already loaded)

Run the app, then Join a Meeting, and enter the Meeting ID, then password.
Meeting ID: 658 267 980
Password: sunrise
 
 

Operation Notes:

NOTE: When you first enter the meeting, you may notice a new delay, since you will be put into the “Waiting Room”, until you are actively admitted by the host.
 
Once you join, look for the microphone and camera settings. On the computer, they appear when you move your mouse with the cursor over the application, and are at the bottom left. The microphone and camera can be switched ON or OFF. For more instructions, you can watch these brief videos before the meeting:

Loading the Zoom app (iPhone or iPad)

To load the Zoom app on your iPhone or iPad, follow the instructions below:
  1. Select the Icon labeled "App Store", it is blue and has a big white A inside it.
  2. Select the search icon that looks like a magnifying glass in the lower right.
  3. Type "zoom" in the search area and press enter.
  4. Look for "Zoom Cloud Meetings" and select "Get". Verify that you want to install it then wait for it to finish installing. Should take less than two minutes.
  5. When it finishes, press "Open". You may need to answer some questions. Ok to say yes to camera and microphone. 
Once it is loaded, you can open (LAUNCH) the application from the Zoom icon on the home screen, which looks like this:
Click it, then press "Join" to join a meeting, then enter the Meeting ID. Fiddle with the controls of the microphone (mute) and camera till they are what you want.
