Sunrise Rotary is hosting a talk by Peter Hoberg November 16 at 5:30 pm at Paul and Penny's house (249 Boas Drive, Santa Rosa). After some social time Peter will give a talk that he has given to the Sebastopol Sunrise and Russian River clubs (to much hoopla and loud acclamation, I am told). The talk will be on Climate Restoration.
A lot of climate news these days is scary. The headlines are full of climate related disasters all over the world. It’s having a huge impact on communities everywhere, and poorer and disadvantaged communities are suffering the most. It is a major global challenge. This presentation gives an overview of efforts to restore the climate, including the removal of Carbon Dioxide from the atmosphere.
The gathering will be informative and there will be time to meet and talk with friends. Please RSVP to Paul or Peter if you can make it, and invite friends or family who may be interested. If you feel the calling to bring a bottle of wine, by all means do so!
