The Aurora Gateway's annual while elephant gift exchange is always a fun time. This year did not disappoint...several favorites from past years made their appearance... like the ever popular pink energizer bunny, the bass fish statue, the 1980 mini-TV, a box of nuts and bolts, the pink pig bank, the Mystery game and the hand-carved wooden statue that does not quite stand upright.  First time items like the custom framed picture of President Dan Davis and his toe floss, the fondue dishes and the War Between the Sexes game are sure to be new repeaters.

Besides the fun exchange, the Club celebrated meeting a recent challenge of raising $5,000 to help a young girl receive a much needed kidney transplant. The Club also wished Len Brass a safe trip to Thailand where he will deliver Club contributions to the Petchubun Rotaract Club, the Women's Prison project and show our support for a local effort to raise funds for a hemodialysis machine. In addition Len will finalize the upcoming visit of our 5th English Immersion student and another professor from the University.

As we start this new year the whole Club wants to wish all our fellow Rotarians  a very happy and healthy New Year.
