LGMR recently hosted a wonderful meeting honoring the contributions of Doug McNeil and the late Jesse Salem who were founders of Lighting for Literacy. Throughout his life, Doug McNeil has, literally, brought light to thousands of people around the world. Accepting the Rotary Humanitarian Award for Doug were his parents, Jim and Renee.
Today, Doug remains a dedicated advocate with an unshakable commitment to creating positive change, while living with a diagnosis of ALS.
