District 15 Candidates

Former Assemblywoman Nora Campos; County Supervisor Dave Cortese; Former FEC Commissioner Ann Ravel and San Jose City Councilman Johnny Khamis.

Jim Beal’s State Senate seat has brought in some of the best candidates to the fore. These candidates have years of experience in the political arena and will make their pitch to convince LGMR they can fill Jim’s shoes.

The format for the presentation is a League of Woman Voter style panel with each candidate being given a couple of minutes for an opening message, followed by a response to written questions from club members (15-25 minutes).  Each candidate will then have a couple of minutes for closing.
