Tempe South Rotarian Cliff Jones to be awarded the Tempe Leadership Outstanding Community Leadership Award.
Tempe Fire Chief Cliff Jones will be presented with the Tempe Leadership Outstanding Community Leadership Award on Feb 17th at the Tempe Chamber of Commerce's Breakfast for Chamber Champions. The award recognizes achievements and service that contribute to improving the quality of life in Tempe.
Jones has been a member of the Tempe Fire department for 37 years, including 21 as chief, and was recognized as "Career Fire Chief of the Year" in the United States" by Fire Chief Magazine. A graduate of Arizona State University with Master of Public Administration and Bachelor of Science degrees, Jones serves as an instructor in the school's Fire Service Program.
