Companies are using a number of techniques to raise awareness levels of ethics among their workforce. They heve the employees take online surveys. Employees are required to sign ethics statements. They send their employees to ethics seminars.
Action to raise ethics awareness is better than inaction. Ethics left to interpretation can lead to different results for each person. And it only takes one person to besmerch a company's name.
Dave has developed a board game, E-Factor!, which is designed to be played in groups within the company. The game presents the groups with characters and situations which the employees use in role playing. The result is a consensus of interpretation of the ethical issues surrounding a situation.
