Friends of the Orphans supports over 3600 children with help from Tempe South Rotary.

Friends of the Orphans provides a home for over 3600 children in 9 Nuestro Pequenos Hermanos homes throughout Central America, South America, and the Carribean.

Founded in 1954 by Father William B. Wasson in Cuernavaca, Mexico, Nuestro Pequenos Hermanos (NPH) has raised over 15,000 boys and girls.  The children are given food, clothing, an education, and love.  Siblings are not separated in this program.  The children are given responsibilities.  Each orphanage has a farm to help provide food.  After high school, each child is commited to one year service helping the younger children before going on to college.

Children at NPH are not necessarily orphans.  Some are abandoned or disadvantaged.  None of the children are available for adoption.  Instead, they become part of the NPH family.  In a secure, stable environment, they are given a chance for education and personal growth so they can become productive contributors to society.

With the help of Tempe South Rotary, Friends of the Orphans provides financial support to Nuestro Pequenos Hermanos
